Map & OutPosts
Find community places nearby, follow the ones you care about, or add one your community runs. Location is optional and never used for ads.
Real community places, and the neighbors who keep them going.
OutPosts is a community-first social app. Find the lending libraries, gardens, mutual-aid drop-offs, and gathering spots near you, and the people who run them.

What you can do
A social app built around places, not feeds of strangers.
For iPhone and Android. Everything is anchored to the real places where community happens.
Feed & posts
Photos, video, and text posts with polls, tags, comments, and reactions. A built-in photo editor makes every post look good.
Shouts
Ask for what you need, offer what you have, trade, or give. Neighbors helping neighbors, not a storefront.
Circles
Group spaces with roles and invites, for the crews that make community work: a block association, a volunteer team, a garden committee.
Go Live & Messages
Live audio and video rooms for meetings, teach-ins, and announcements, plus direct messages between members.
Verification badges
Know who you’re dealing with. Verification happens in the app, and badges can be removed if trust is abused.
Community first, by design
No ads.
No selling data.
OutPosts is built by a public benefit corporation to serve communities, not to sell attention. Our Charter bars us from selling your data and from ads targeted at you, and no one can buy those promises away.
