Terms of Service
Last updated: August 14, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Zion Datum Public Benefit Corporation ("Zion PBC," "we," "us," or "our") and govern your use of the LP Account application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What LP Account is
LP Account helps you understand support and programs you may be eligible for, organize your own information, and — only when you choose — share specific information with partner organizations that can help. Partner organizations use a separate console within the Service to serve members who have granted them access.
2. Who can use the Service
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.
- Partner-organization users must additionally comply with Section 7.
3. Your information and your consent
- You decide what information to provide. Many features work with partial information; providing more may improve what the Service can find for you.
- No partner organization can see your information unless you grant it access, and every grant is scoped to specific categories of information and a specific purpose. You can revoke any grant at any time in the app.
- The Service keeps an audit record of access to your information, which you can review in the app.
4. Important limits of the Service
- Eligibility results are informational only. The Service estimates programs you may qualify for. It does not apply for benefits on your behalf, does not make or guarantee any benefits determination, and is not affiliated with any government agency unless expressly stated.
- No professional advice. The Service does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice. Content in the Service is general information. For advice about your situation, consult a qualified professional.
- Not for emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger or crisis, call your local emergency number (911 in the US) or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: misrepresent your identity or circumstances to obtain services; access or attempt to access another member's information without authorization; probe, disrupt, or overload the Service; scrape or harvest data; reverse engineer the Service except where the law permits; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
6. Member content
You retain ownership of the information and content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process it solely to operate the Service as described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your information.
7. Partner organizations and their staff
- Partner access is provisioned by agreement between the organization and Zion PBC, and every staff member's access to member information is limited to members who have granted that organization consent, within the granted scope.
- Partner users must use member information only to serve the member and for the purpose the member consented to; must not export, copy, or re-disclose member information outside the Service except as the member has authorized or the law requires; and must promptly report any suspected unauthorized access.
- Violations may result in suspension or termination of the user or the organization's access, and may be reported to the organization and, where applicable, authorities.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for members, or as required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 4, 6, 9, 10, and 11) survive.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that eligibility estimates are accurate or complete, that any partner organization will provide services, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zion PBC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of one hundred US dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Dispute resolution; governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [COUNTY, STATE], and the parties consent to their jurisdiction. [COUNSEL: confirm forum; consider arbitration/class-waiver decision.]
12. Changes to these Terms
If we make material changes we will notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
